September 7, 2011 - We were accepted into Children's House International
September 12, 2011 - Home Study
October 13, 2011 - Home Study approved
October 14, 2011 - We were placed on the waiting list
October 28, 2011 - Mailed our USCIS application
November 21, 2011 - USCIS fingerprint appointment
January 2, 2012 - Found out we are pregnant with baby #4! (very unexpectedly to say the least) Our adoption will be put on hold until this baby is born and then we will move forward!
January 2, 2013 - Had our home study updated
February 13, 2013 - Appointment to update our fingerprints
April 10, 2013 - We mailed our dossier!
July 2, 2013 - We got a referral!!!!
July 8, 2013 - We applied for a court date to make our adoption official.
December 30, 2013 - We met Silas Robel for the first time.
December 31, 2013 - We went to court to finalize his adoption on the Ethiopian end.
February 11, 2014 - Our case was submitted to Embassy.
April 23, 2014 - GOTCHA DAY!!!
